"Barcelona" defender Dani Alves did not hide his disappointment after the defeat in the King's Cup final, but immediately admitted that losses and critics' attacks are nothing new to him.
"We really wanted to score a second goal, but the plan failed. So we left Valencia disappointed, as we realized that the team's fans wanted to see us lift the trophies," shared the Brazilian with journalists.
However, the footballer noted that while losing is an unpleasant fact, it is eventually forgotten, and he is prepared to withstand the wave of criticism.
"If the critics want to shoot us down for it now, I am ready. That's my character and that's football. When you win, you are the best, when you lose, you are the worst," Dani Alves emphasized.
According to the defender, the failure did not diminish his desire to continue representing the Catalan team: "To me, 'Barcelona' is a great club. I would love to continue defending its honor and colors with love."
