They acquired the left winger Xisco. The Spaniard was a free agent, so there was no need to pay a transfer fee to the Seville city team. A contract was signed with the footballer for six years.
Xisco successfully passed a medical examination yesterday. The former member of the Spanish youth national team scored 14 goals in his first season representing Valencia's reserve team in 1999-2000. Later, he was loaned to Recreativo and Tenerife.
Xisco became the second purchase of Betis this summer. Earlier, the club was joined by Alberto Rivera from Levante. Today, 24-year-old Xisco will be officially presented to the club's fans.
