Marseille's "Olympique" club has found a new strategist.
The team president Vicente Labrune revealed that a preliminary agreement has been reached with Argentine Marcelo Bielsa.
"We have a preliminary agreement, so we just need to finalize the contracts," said V. Labrune about the search for a new strategist.
"Without excessive joy, I can say that this problem will be resolved and next season we will have a great coach."
M. Bielsa has previously coached Barcelona's "Espanyol", "Athletic Bilbao" clubs, as well as worked with South American teams and as the coach of the national teams of Argentina and Chile.
Currently, Marseille is coached by Jose Anigo, who took over from Elie Baup, who was dismissed from his duties in December 2013.
This season the team is in 6th place in the league table and will likely not participate in European tournaments next season.
