"Liverpool" general director Ian Ayre believes that qualifying for the UEFA Champions League will make it easier for them to acquire high-class footballers.
In the English Premier League, the "Reds" are currently in first place and are closing in on the title, while Brendan Rodgers' team has already secured their spot in the Champions League.
"It's always easier to acquire good players when the team is at a high level," Ayre said.
"Last summer we had a problem with Luis Suarez, because he wanted to play alongside the best players and compete in the strongest European tournament.
"We have always been happy to be able to buy high-class players. Without a doubt, qualifying for the Champions League will open doors in the player market," added the Liverpool director.
Liverpool last participated in the Champions League in the 2009-10 season.
