"Bayern" strategist Pep Guardiola from Munich, despite the loss suffered, was not disappointed with his team's performance in the UEFA Champions League semi-final.
Yesterday at the "Santiago Bernabeu" stadium, the first semi-final match took place, in which Madrid's "Real" defeated "Bayern" with a score of 1-0, even though the Bavarians controlled the ball for almost the entire match.
"I am proud of my team. They gave their all fighting against one of the best clubs in the world," said the former Barcelona coach.
"We controlled the match, but 'Real' once again showed their strong side - counterattacks. It's a pity we lost, but we are looking forward to the second leg, where we will seek to retaliate," Guardiola concluded.
The decisive semi-final match of the Old Continent will be played at the "Allianz" stadium on April 29.
