Juventus coach Antonio Conte insisted that the whole of Italy can be proud of his players' performance in Lisbon.
The leaders of Serie A started the Europa League semi-final stage with a 1-2 loss to Benfica.
"We started the game poorly, but then we took control and stifled all the opponents' efforts. We thought they would give up, but out of nowhere came the second goal.
However, the series is not over yet and I believe that the atmosphere in our stadium will be no worse."
