London's "Arsenal" player Lukas Podolskis does not rule out the possibility of returning to the "Koln" team.
Lately, there have been more and more rumors that the 28-year-old forward will leave the "Gunners" team in the summer, as the relationship with Arsene Wenger is difficult.
"The Bundesliga is one of the best in the world and playing there is always interesting," Podolskis told the "Transfermarkt" website.
"I am interested in one club in Germany, and that is "Koln." This club means more than just a club to me, because it is my home. Maybe one day I will return there.
Currently, I have a contract with "Arsenal" and I want to fulfill my commitment, but football is football and you never know what might happen," added the German.
Podolskis played for "Koln" in the 11th grade from 2003 to 2006, but in 2009 he put on the team's jersey again and played until 2012.
This season, "Koln" is in first place in the second tier of the Bundesliga and next season the club will return to the top league.
