Legendary Brazilian national team footballer Pele states that Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo reminds him of the Portuguese Eusebio.
The 29-year-old footballer has been named the best football player in the world twice, and Pele describes C.Ronaldo as an elegant and creative player.
"Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the most influential athletes in the world," Pele said. "It's no wonder that he is currently the best football player."
"I had the opportunity to celebrate with C.Ronaldo at this year's Ballon d'Or ceremony. He never stops benefiting the Portuguese national team.
He reminds me of my former friend and Portuguese legend Eusebio. They have the same elegance and creativity. If I could play now, I would love the opportunity to play alongside Cristiano in attack," the Brazilian said.
Pele also added about the upcoming World Cup: "Furthermore, I wish a successful performance for Ronaldo in Brazil, but if the Portuguese meet the Brazilians in the final, sorry Cristiano, but I want Brazil to triumph."
