London's "Arsenal" club has contacted San Sebastian's "Real Sociedad" team regarding a possible transfer of forward Antoine Griezmann.
The Frenchman has been monitored by the "Gunners" scouts for some time now, and the 23-year-old footballer has found himself at the top of the list of potential summer purchases.
Griezmann's contract with the team expires in 2016, and the player himself is valued at 30 million euros.
Arsenal may have to compete with London's Chelsea, Liverpool, and several other big European clubs for the Frenchman's signature.
Griezmann is a product of the "Real Sociedad" academy, having joined the club at just 14 years old.
The left-sided attacker has scored 16 goals in the Spanish "Primera" division this season.
