On Thursday, the participants of the Europa League final were revealed. The second most prestigious European club tournament will be contested by the teams of "Sevilla" and "Benfica". The latter finished the second leg matches goalless, but managed to hold off the players of Turin's "Juventus" – 0:0.
Most of "Benfica" work had been done at their home ground, where they defeated the Italian champions 2:1. The fans of the latter were both angry and almost in tears - after all, the Europa League final on May 14 will take place in Turin, but they won't see their own team there.
In the 67th minute, the away player E. Perez received his second yellow card.
In the 89th minute, the home player M. Vučinič received a red card.
In the 90+1 minute, the away player L. Markovič received a red card (not on the field).
The fans of "Valencia" were already celebrating victory and making plans for the final, when in the fourth minute of added time, Stephane Mbia crushed their hopes. "Valencia" had a great chance after losing the first match 0:2, as they were leading 3:0 against "Sevilla" on Thursday, but S. Mbia scored a goal that turned everything upside down - due to the difference between missed and scored home goals, "Sevilla" made it to the final.
