On Thursday, hundreds of "Villarreal" team fans organized a protest action and expressed support for their sadly famous teammate David Campayo.
The 26-year-old Spaniard, who previously worked as a youth team coach for the club, received a strict punishment for throwing a banana at "Barcelona" player Dani Alves during a match - a ban from attending the club's matches for life.
The protesters brought homemade signs and chanted "David, we are with you!" urging to lift all bans imposed on the fan who caused a huge scandal.
