The manager of London's Arsenal club, Arsene Wenger, has confirmed that the team's leaders will not be sold next summer.
Several footballers have been linked with a possible departure from the Gunners team, including defender Bacary Sagna, whose contract expires this summer. However, the 64-year-old specialist will seek to maintain the core of the team.
"We want the players to stay in the club, as we have many ambitions for the future," said the Frenchman.
It is also reported that the Arsenal team will seek to acquire two players before the World Cup in Brazil. The team will be looking for attackers, wing-backs, midfielders, and goalkeepers during the summer.
