Sunderland took an important step towards survival, celebrating a victory at Old Trafford after Sebastien Larsson's goal against Manchester United, coached by Ryan Giggs.
The fate of Norwich City club is still uncertain. The Canaries are in 18th place in the league table and will face Chelsea away on Sunday.
