In the 32nd minute, Mario Gotze put the Bavarians in the lead, and Thomas Muller increased the advantage at the start of the second half.
In the 69th minute, M. Gotze scored again, but the hosts soon softened the result. The final point in this match was scored by Claudio Pizarro, who appeared as a substitute.
