In the 39th match of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, the national teams of Italy and Uruguay will meet.
These national teams have won the first four World Cups. The Uruguay national team triumphed in the first championship in 1930 and in the 1950 competition, while Italy won the 1934 and 1938 championships.
After that, the Italians became world champions two more times (in 1982 and 2006) and are only one trophy behind the all-time record holders, Brazil. Meanwhile, Uruguay is still chasing their third title.
