Verslo national team forward Craig Bellamy has moved from '' to '' club.
The striker has signed a four-year contract with Blackburn Rovers and Newcastle reportedly received about 5 million pounds sterling (about 25 million litas) for this transfer, according to unofficial sources.
Blackburn recently sold promising striker John Stead to Sunderland, so the acquisition of C.Bellamy will "fill in" the gap in their attacking line-up.
In the beginning of the last season, C.Bellamy clashed with Newcastle manager Graeme Souness, which led to him spending the second half of the season on loan at Celtic. His good performances in Scotland attracted interest from several clubs, including Aston Villa, Everton, and Celtic itself, but Blackburn emerged victorious in the battle for the striker.
