Recently, after the Spanish champions of the past season officially announced that Argentine striker Javier Saviola is not part of the team's future plans, three clubs immediately entered into a battle for the Argentine national team striker.

Although earlier the English club "Middlesbrough" showed interest in the short striker, J. Saviola, who spent last season on loan at "Monaco," rejected the possibility of playing in England or Germany, so now three Spanish clubs are fighting for the Argentine's signature: La Coruna, Sevilla, and Barcelona.

Barcelona's president Joan Laporta told journalists that J. Saviola himself has to choose the club where he wants to play.

"We do not want to rush things, Javier himself has to decide," Laporta said.
