The national team goalkeeper David Pizarro officially became a player - this was officially announced by the Milan club, finally finishing negotiations for the player's transfer from Udinese.
The new Inter goalkeeper, who won the Italian Cup after passing a medical examination, signed a four-year contract valid until 2009. The details of the player's purchase are not disclosed, but it is believed that Udinese will receive around 10 million euros and 50% of the rights to the Macedonian Goran Pandev, currently representing Roma's Lazio team.
Pizarro has been preparing to leave the Udinese team for a couple of seasons in a row - two years ago he was very close to transferring to Lazio, later Juventus and Milan also wanted to sign him, and finally this summer, when the player did not show up for the team's pre-season camp and demanded a transfer, he was sold to Inter.
It is speculated that Udinese will try to use the 50% rights to G. Pandev in negotiations in an attempt to replace Pizarro - the club, which has acquired the right to play in the Champions League, will seek to acquire the former player of the current coach Serse Cosmi, the defender F. Liverani, who belongs to the Lazio club.
