The experienced 31-year-old striker, who is currently participating in the Gold Cup tournament with the Mexican national team and also took part in the Confederations Cup in June, was one of the best Mexican players in this tournament, scoring three goals in four matches. Although there were talks that the striker was tempted by a very lucrative offer from the Saudi Arabian club "Al-Ittihad," J. Borgetti is expected to sign a contract of unknown duration once the Gold Cup tournament is over.
