Australian national team forward John Aloisi finally revealed his future covered in shadows and signed a contract with the newcomers of "La Liga".
Since the Aussie's contract with Pamplona expired at the end of June, J. Aloisi had already shaken hands with Athens' "Panathinaikos", but the club canceled the transfer only 11 hours later, citing the reason that the footballer had not yet recovered from a knee injury.
The forward then returned to "Osasuna" and negotiated a new contract, but later decided to accept the offer from "Alaves". Australian clubs like "Portsmouth" and "Sunderland" also showed interest.
The 29-year-old J. Aloisi signed a two-year contract with "Alaves". "Alaves" is just returning to "La Liga", but it is a club with a great history. For me, it will be a great place to score goals," said the Aussie on the occasion of signing the contract.
