The striker Javi Guerrero will play for Vigo's team next season. The player will arrive without a transfer fee, as his contract with Santander's team ended this summer.
Many teams were interested in the services of the 28-year-old footballer. Among them were Liverpool, , and Barcelona. According to the striker, the most lucrative offer came from an English team.
"Everton's offer was the best financially, but I wanted to stay in Spain," said J. Guerrero. "I am sure I would have successfully adapted in England, but I had to think about different issues."
In the near future, the player will sign a three-year contract with "Celta," which will return to the highest division of Spain. Last season, playing for "Racing," J. Guerrero scored 8 goals in 33 matches.
