The Sevilla club, preparing for the start of the Champions League, revealed two newly acquired footballers - Victoriano Rivas "Nano" and Juan Luis Gomez "Juanlu."
The 26-year-old left-back Nano signed a five-year contract with Betis. In the last three years, Nano wore the jerseys of Getafe and played 97 matches for the Madrid team. Previously, the Spaniard has played for Amoros and Atletico. "This is a big step for me and I hope to live up to the expectations that Betis has for me," said Victoriano Rivas.
Another acquisition, 25-year-old Juanlu, signed a six-year contract with the Seville team. In the past seasons, the player represented the team of "Numancia" which had been relegated from the Spanish top league (La Liga). The left-back said: "This is a dream come true. The chance to play in the Champions League wearing the Betis shirt brought me happiness."
This summer, Betis has already added Alberto Rivera and Xisco to its roster. Now the coach of the Andalusian team, Llorencas Serra Ferrer, says that his team is ready for the third stage of the UEFA Champions League.
