Roma club representatives today announced that they have signed a contract with former forward Igli Tare.
The 31-year-old Albanian national team player spoke about leaving Bologna after it became clear that the team would only be competing in the Serie B championship next season.
Initially, Tare had planned to continue his career with several foreign clubs, but after receiving an offer from the famous Lazio, he could not resist the temptation to stay in Serie A for at least another year.
Earlier, Tare had mentioned that he dreams of playing at the Olimpico as his home stadium someday, and now his dream has come true. Lazio will most likely have to give up their defender Christian Manfredini to Bologna for the Albanian.
