Hopelessly trying to seek help from the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) in order to overturn the FIFA decision which banned the team from acquiring new players until next summer.

The club received this punishment for illegally purchasing defender Phillipe Mexes from a French club last summer.

Since Roma's appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport was unsuccessful, the team representatives started to resolve the crisis with FIGC officials.

President Franco Sensi did not attend the meeting, but his daughter Rosella announced that the deliberation would continue.

"At the moment we are cooperating with the Federation. I will not add anything else, we just have to let the lawyers do their job peacefully," stated the president's daughter.

"We will take measures that seem necessary to us, but for now I cannot say what we have decided," said the President of the Italian Football Federation Franco Carraro.
