After a year-long break, Vigo, returning to the highest Spanish league, continues to prove to everyone that in the new season they intend to be a tough nut to crack even for the strongest Spanish teams.

In the summer, having already strengthened with Argentine national team defender Diego Placente, Brazilians Fernando Baiano and Edu, Spaniard Javi Guerrero, and Uruguayan Nestor Fabiano Canobbio, "Celta" announced two more acquisitions: full-back Antonio Nunezasc and forward Jesus Perera have joined the club.

26-year-old A. Nunezasc, who scored one goal in 27 appearances for "Liverpool" last season, signed a three-year contract with "Celta". Meanwhile, Jesus Perera will not be a newcomer to the Vigo team - in the second half of last season, he played for "Celta" on loan and scored five goals to help "Celta" return to the top league.

Both players made their debut in friendly matches away to "Willem II", which the Spanish club won 2-1, with J. Perera scoring the winning goal.
