Lithuanian national team and striker M.Stankevičius, representing "Brescia" team, will play in the second most powerful Italian "Serie B" championship next season - the Lithuanian has been loaned out to "Avellino" club, so there are no longer representatives of our country in the strongest Italian league.
27-year-old T.Danilevičius, who arrived in Italy three years ago from the Belgian club "Beveren", failed to establish himself in the main lineup of the "Livorno" team over three seasons, scoring 7 goals in more than 60 appearances on the field.
Although last November Danilevičius extended his contract with "Livorno" until 2009, the Lithuanian who made his debut in the "Serie A" championship along with the club was mostly a substitute player, remaining a substitute for one of the attacking leaders C.Lucarelli, along with either the veteran I.Protti or C.Colombo.
In the summer, neither of the latter two players remained in the team, but the club was reinforced with two young and promising players - Brazilian Paulinho from "Juventude" and R.Paladino from "Juventus". Last week, Danilevičius scored a goal in a friendly match and on Thursday he played in another match, but soon it was decided to loan him to the "Avellino" team, and the transfer was arranged late on Friday evening.
Soon Danilevičius will join his teammates preparing for the new season. His new club "Avellino" last season, after additional matches, defeated the legendary "Napoli" and secured a promotion from the "Serie C1" to the "Serie B" division, where they are preparing to fight for survival this year.
