The defender of the Lithuanian national team will continue his career in the Russian "Premier" league team - the player returned to the Moscow region club after a two-year break, during which he represented another club.
27-year-old Džiaukštas, who started his career at Vilnius "Panerys", later played for "Žalgiris" and Kaliningrad "Baltika", moved to Russia in 2001 to represent the "Saturn" team, where he spent two full seasons, and in the middle of the 2003 season moved to Moscow's "Torpedo-Metallurg".
In 2004, "Torpedo-Metallurg" changed its name to "Moscow", and R. Džiaukštas was still a key player in the main squad. However, as the club's ambitions grew and the team strengthened, the Lithuanian lost his place in the main squad and this year appeared on the field only 5 times in 19 rounds.
Džiaukštas was decided to be brought back into the team by the "Saturn" team, who are not performing very successfully this season - after reaching agreement between the teams for the transfer, the player was officially presented to the fans of the Moscow region club on Friday, and today he will be able to wear the team's jersey again in the match against "Alania" from Vladikavkaz.
