Suomis Jaris Litmanenas arrived in his homeland and signed a contract with the "FC Lahti" club. Last week in Amsterdam, he terminated his contract with the player, even though it was still valid for six weeks. Team coach Ronaldas Koemanas was dissatisfied with Litmaneno's dedication to the team.

The 33-year-old player was delighted to return home to his first club: "For me, this is a pleasant choice. I was part of the club's beginning, and closely followed their progress. Now I have the chance to be part of the team again. Currently, the important thing is to regain my form, after twelve years abroad it's great to train again and relax a bit in Lahti."

The Finnish football legend started his career in 1987 at the Lahti city club. Later, he played for Helsinki's "HJK", "Mypa". With the latter club in 1992, he won the Finnish Cup, catching the eye of foreign clubs. In the same year, Litmanenas moved to "Ajax". In 1995 with "Ajax" he won the Champions League, European Super Cup, and Intercontinental Cup. After six seasons at "Ajax", Litmanenas moved to "Barcelona", then played for "Liverpool". In 2002, he returned to Amsterdam.
