During the training sessions of the Lithuanian national team preparing for the World Cup qualifying matches against Serbia and Montenegro on Tuesday, the substitute goalkeeper Gytis Padimanskas, who suffered a leg injury, will be replaced by 34-year-old "Šiauliai" team goalkeeper Vaidotas Žutautas, as reported by the Lithuanian Football Federation.

The 33-year-old representative of Marijampolė's "Sūduva," while catching the ball during training, unsuccessfully landed on the grass and tore his ligaments. Instead of the injured player, it was decided to invite V. Žutautas, who has played 8 times in the national team, to the position of the second team's goalkeeper.

Meanwhile, in the "Stars Day" matches organized by NFKA in the "A league," today's participant V. Žutautas will be replaced by 28-year-old FBK "Kaunas" goalkeeper Eduardas Kurskis. There are also other changes in the festive "Lithuanian" team lineup - the team has been supplemented by "Sūduva" defender Gvidas Grigas, and "Nevėžis" has delegated another safety, Darius Adomaitis, instead of Martynas Juknevičius.
