The champion of the Netherlands Eindhoven, who lost several of their leaders during the off-season, has strengthened their squad with two players on the last day of summer - Dutch defender Michael Reiziger and promising Argentine goalkeeper Juan Carlos Carrizas.
32-year-old Reiziger has signed a two-year contract with PSV and is returning to the Netherlands after a nine-year break, during which he played for Milan, seven for Barcelona, and recently for other clubs.
Previously, Reiziger has also played under current PSV coach Guus Hiddink in the Dutch national team, and he will now strengthen the club's defense after Wilfred Bouma and South Korean Young-Pyo Lee left the team.
Meanwhile, 18-year-old J.C. Carrizas, who plays as an attacking goalkeeper, has joined PSV after participating in a two-week trial. He is moving from the San Lorenzo club and has made a name for himself with his performances in the Argentine youth national teams, recently becoming a World champion with one of them, specifically in the Netherlands.
