Portugal's national team and Moscow's team Dinamo's midfielder Maniche has stated that he is not satisfied with life in the Russian capital. It seems that another Portuguese player at the club, defensive midfielder Costinha, feels similarly.
Both footballers arrived in Russia in May from a team that received around 20 million euros in compensation for their departure to play for the Portuguese national team. Nevertheless, Maniche now claims that he wants to leave Russia as soon as possible.
"Neither I nor my family feel good here," the midfielder complained. "I don't like the country, the league, or the weather. I have already expressed my dissatisfaction to my agent and now I need to find a common ground with the management of the Dinamo team."
"I'm not saying I regret it, but if I had to choose right now, I would think twice about the whole situation before leaving Porto. Money is not everything in life."
Currently, the 27-year-old midfielder, known for his accurate long-range shots, is training with the Portuguese national team. Maniche will likely play in one of the most important matches in the national team's World Cup qualifying cycle, where they will face Russian footballers.
