Madrid defender Michel Salgado should move to Italy at the beginning of next year. It is announced that the Spanish team has already agreed to loan the 29-year-old defender to the Turin club.

The transition should take place at the beginning of 2006, when the transfer window reopens. It is then that Brazilian national team defender Cicinho will arrive in Madrid, who has already agreed to join the "Royal" club.

This summer, "Real" was supplemented by another right-back player - 22-year-old Uruguayan Carlos Diogo. These two players, strengthening the competition in the team, are expected to take the place of the experienced Spanish national team defender.

"Real Madrid" officials offered me to move to Juventus, where I will be loaned for six months starting in January," said M. Salgado. "They told me this directly and I am satisfied with this decision."

M. Salgado arrived at "Real" in 1999 from the Vigo team "Celta." If the player successfully competes in Italy, and the game of Cicinho and C. Diogo satisfies the "Real" managers, it is undisputed that M. Salgado will not return to the Madrid team.
