Bad news from the Spanish middle team camp - after tests it turned out that club star Javier Saviola will not be able to play for about a month.
The Argentinian national team player will have to miss not only the Spanish championship matches, but also the UEFA Cup first round matches against the "Mainz" team.
The striker suffered an injury in the weekend match against "Villarreal", which ended in a 1-1 draw. J. Saviola had an unsuccessful battle with "Villarreal" goalkeeper Sebastian Viera in that match and suffered a ligament injury.
The Argentine, who played for "Monaco" last season, has been loaned to Sevilla from "Barcelona" for this season.
