lthough the average team of the Spanish championship did not have the star Javier Saviola for the month, the chances of this team winning the UEFA Cup are best evaluated by one of the most famous betting offices in the world, the British "William Hill".

Sevilla's chances of adding the UEFA Cup to their trophy list at the end of the season are evaluated at 12-1, but the ratio is much higher than usual in the UEFA Champions League, where the favorites are offered much lower odds, i.e. the main favorites in the UEFA CL are much clearer than in the UEFA Cup.

In second place, AS Roma's chances of winning the UEFA Cup are valued at 14-1. In third place, somewhat unexpectedly, Germany's average team Hamburger SV, who made it to the UEFA Cup through the Intertoto Cup, where they also eliminated the 2004 Spanish champion and UEFA Cup winner Valencia, are evaluated at 16-1.

Leverkusen's Bayer and AS Monaco's chances are valued at 20-1, Middlesbrough at 22-1, and the third-round UEFA Champions League dropout Liverpool Everton at just 25-1, as well as Italy's Palermo.

The chances of last season's UEFA Cup winners CSKA Moscow, with Lithuanian D.Šemberas playing for them, are only valued at 28-1, the same as Sampdoria and Marseille.

Stuttgart, Sporting Lisbon, Hertha Berlin, Feyenoord Rotterdam, AZ Alkmaar, and Auxerre are valued at 33-1.

Other teams participating in the tournament, which will start on Thursday, are valued at 40-1 and higher.

Interestingly, the chances of Panevezys' "Ekranas", who eliminated Cork City from Ireland in the tournament, are rated the worst - at odds of 751-1.
