ver the weekend, nine matches of the seventh round were played in the English Premier League. After these games, the leader remains the same - London's "Chelsea" continues to dominate, having won all seven games.

On Saturday, Jose Mourinho's team beat Birmingham's "Aston Villa" at home with a score of 2-1. The visitors took the lead at the end of the first half, but goalkeeper Frank Lampard soon equalized the result. In the 75th minute, one of England's best national team goalkeepers turned the result around by converting a penalty kick.

Other championship favorites continue to struggle. "Man Utd" unexpectedly lost 1-2 at their home ground of Old Trafford to the club from 12th position, "Blackburn." 2004's national champions "Arsenal" also dropped two points, drawing 0-0 with newly promoted West Ham.

Meanwhile, last season's strongest European club, "Liverpool," secured their fourth draw this season. Rafael Benitez's team managed to snatch a point in their match against "Birmingham" thanks to Djibril Cisse's penalty kick at the end of the game. Liverpool, with 7 points in five games, currently occupies 13th place.

"Charlton," another successful London club, defeated "W.B.A." during the weekend, suffering only one loss in six games and securing their place in second position. Following closely behind is "Bolton," who also won their match against Portsmouth, collecting 14 points from seven games.
