Brazil's Adriano has once again proven that he intends to continue playing for the Milan club. The 23-year-old forward has signed a new two-year contract and will remain with one of the strongest clubs in Italy until the summer of 2010.

Last summer, there were rumors that the talented forward, who was performing well, could leave Italy. It was reported that the services of the prolific striker were particularly actively sought after by London and Madrid, but Inter refused to negotiate and soon extended the contract.

"I signed a contract until 2010. 2010? Then I will already be an old man with gray hair," joked Adriano.

The forward arrived in Italy in 2001 from his native country's "Flamengo" team. Despite scoring a goal against Real Madrid in his debut match for Inter, Adriano spent three seasons on loan to other teams. After successful performances in these teams, Adriano earned his place in the Milan team.
