In the only match of the seventh round of the English Premier League that took place on Monday, "Tottenham" celebrated a victory with a minimal result, defeating "Fulham" at home.
The only goal of the match was scored in the eighth minute by England's national team striker Jermain Defoe, who avoided offside and received a high pass, sending the ball into Tony Warner's goal with a left-footed shot.
In the 22nd minute, goalkeeper Claus Jensen had the most realistic chance to equalize the score, but his long-range shot deflected off the crossbar.
In the half-hour mark, Egypt's national team striker Mido had a great opportunity to double the score, but he shot straight at the goalkeeper from a perfect position.
