La Coruna team defender Victor suffered a knee ligament injury and will be unable to play for at least four weeks.
The 29-year-old Spaniard suffered the injury during training, and was immediately taken to the hospital where tests revealed that his knee ligaments were damaged. It is worth mentioning that the player has not yet appeared for "Deportivo" this season, as he was previously recovering from another knee injury.
According to club officials, Victor, whose contract with La Coruna team expires this summer, will not require surgery, but the player will need to rest for four to six weeks.
"Deportivo" currently holds the 5th place in the Spanish "La Liga" championship with two wins in five matches.
