On Wednesday, the postponed 19th round match of the "A Lyga" between Vilnius "Žalgiris" and "Šilutė" club took place at home, and the match ended in a goalless draw.

In this match, "Žalgiris" missed injured defenders P.Paknis and T.Gražiūnas, while A.Jokšas and K.Jasaitis could not play due to cards, and "Šilutė" was missing defenders A.Khubutija and T.Kijanskas, as well as forward G.Juška.
Although "Žalgiris" had beaten Šilutė in their away match just a week and a half ago, this time the Vilnius club failed to break the resistance of their opponents and added just one point to their tally, remaining in eighth place in the league.
"Šilutė's team knows how to play, almost all of them are players belonging to the 'Kaunas' club. The opponents left a good impression. I think "Žalgiris" and "Šilutė" are teams of equal skill," said Vincas Kateiva, the head coach of "Žalgiris".
The coach regretted that striker Martynas Karalius did not take the chances to score: "After the UEFA Intertoto tournament, our team is almost unlucky. We don't have leaders. Nevertheless, we are trying to overcome the crisis, the guys fought quite well with Šilutė, the defenders played commendably," said V.Kateiva.
