On Sunday, the remaining two matches of the 11th round of "Ligue 1" championship were played, after which the teams' positioning at the top of the table remained the same.

The championship leader, "Lyon" club, continues to play confidently. This time, "Lyon" defeated "Ajaccio" 3-2 at home after a fierce battle. The home team took the lead in this match after Fred's goal in the 29th minute, but they were ahead for only 5 minutes - in the 34th minute, a penalty was awarded to "Lyon", which was successfully converted by Kaba Diawara.

At the beginning of the second half, "Lyon" once again took the lead - another Brazilian, Juninho, scored in the 49th minute. However, the balance was quickly restored again, as Tiago sent the ball into his own net in the 52nd minute. Nevertheless, in the 68th minute, Sylvain Wiltord's goal allowed "Lyon" to once again overturn the result, secure the victory, and add three more points to their tally.

In the central match of the round, the second-placed Paris "P.S.G" club and the struggling "Marseille" team, trying to climb out of the crisis, met in a principled duel. In the first half, both teams had several opportunities to score, but they failed to do so, and the second half began with a 0-0 score.

In the second half, the game was evenly matched again, with both teams attacking but the hosts "Marseille" were the first to take the lead. In the 79th minute, after a substitution, the young Samir Nasri successfully lifted a corner kick, and in the penalty area, Lorik Cana headed the ball into the "P.S.G" goal. Later, "P.S.G" tried to put pressure on their opponents, but the match ended with a 1-0 victory for "Marseille".

It is worth mentioning that before the match, there was an incident in the "PSG" dressing room: Parisian coach Laurent Fournier was poisoned by ammonia. As later explained by the president of "Marseille", both the hosts' and guests' dressing rooms were disinfected with ammonia-containing material. However, he also added that the hosts arrived earlier and aired out their dressing room.

After this victory, "Marseille" climbed to 7th place in the table with 17 points, while "P.S.G" surrendered the second position to Bordeaux and now trails the leading "Lyon" by 7 points.
