On Sunday, the remaining two round matches were played in the German football championships. After nine rounds in the league, there is a tie - "Werder" and "Bayern" clubs share the first place with 22 points each, two points behind in third place is "Hamburger". Continuing with poor results, the team of "Köln" surprises. This time, the club, returning to the Bundesliga after a year break, had to admit the advantage of the visitors from Hannover and lost with a score of 1-4. This was already the fourth consecutive failure for "Köln". The match started better for the "Köln" footballers and they could have taken the lead in the 6th minute, but A.Lurling's shot hit the crossbar. By the way, the Dutch player A.Lurling replaced the young star of the "Köln" team L.Podolski in the starting lineup. In the second half, the initiative was taken over by the "Hannover" team and they also had a chance to score when P.Zurawas received a good pass in the penalty area after a penalty kick, but the Polish header was slightly off target and the ball passed far from the goalpost. The hosts took the lead in this match first, after 47 minutes when A.Streit sent the ball into the net from 6 meters. However, the 50,000 fans gathered at Kiolno's "RheinEnergie" stadium did not celebrate for long. Just a couple of minutes later, J.Stajner took a good opportunity and equalized the score. Soon after, the visitors scored another goal and took the lead - the most accurate player of "Hannover" T.Brdaričius scored after a precise combination. However, the misfortune of the hosts did not end there and after three minutes, a penalty was awarded to "Köln" from eleven meters, which was skillfully converted by R.Sousa, increasing his team's lead to 1-3 and almost eliminating any hope for the "Köln" club. T.Brdaričius helped his team in this match by scoring in the 70th minute, defeating the opposing team's goalkeeper S.Wassels for the fourth time. After the victory, "Hannover" rose to the eleventh position, while "Koln" dropped to the thirteenth. In another match, two league underdogs met - "Duisburg" and "Eintracht" clubs. "Eintracht" club celebrated victory by a minimal difference. In the 27th minute, the goalkeeper of the visiting team A.Meier scored a goal and that was enough for "Eintracht" to secure their second win this season. With 7 points after nine matches, the Frankfurt club occupies the sixteenth position.
