After playing four NFKA "A Lyga" 32nd round matches on Wednesday, there were no major surprises - the championship leader Panevėžio "Ekranas" secured routine victories and theoretical title contender "Kaunas" defended their title, "Šilutė" defeated "Šiauliai", "Atlantas" beat "Nevėžis", and the match between "Sūduva" and "Vilnius" ended in a 1-1 draw.

In the match held in Vilnius, "Ekranas" defeated Vilnius "Žalgiris" with a score of 2-0 for the fourth time this season. The first goal was scored by Ekranas' top scorer M. Savėnas in the 29th minute, and P. Lukšys secured the victory for Panevėžys at the beginning of the second half.

In the match in Šilutė, "Šilutė" defeated the struggling "Šiauliai" 2-1. In this match, S. Vertelis had to play without three players who reached the yellow card limit - defensive pillar and team captain D. Lunskis, goalkeeper M. Krukovskis, and attacking leader G. Butavičius. Although the Šiauliai scored first in the 17th minute with a goal from E. Varnas, the hosts managed to win through goals from M. Grigalevičius and G. Juška.

In Kaunas, the result was not surprising, as Klaipėdos "Atlantas" defeated Kėdainiai "Nevėžis" 3-0, who have conceded their 100th goal this season. The veterans R. Žvingilas, Lithuania's national team forward A. Laurišas, and I. Vasiljevas stood out for Klaipėda. By the way, before this match, there were no more loaned players in the port city club, as the team parted ways with D. Regelskis and M. Bezykornovas rented from "Kaunas".

The resistance of "Vilnius" proved somewhat unexpected for Marijampolė's "Sūduva" players. In the match in Marijampolė, Vilnius took the lead after 68 minutes with a goal from V. Lukša, and the hosts managed to equalize only in the 90th minute, courtesy of the most prolific "A Lyga" player and Lithuanian national team forward T. Radzinevičius.

In the final rehearsals of the LFF Cup final to be held in Vilnius on Saturday, "Vėtra" faced the "Kaunas" club and lost to the more successful opponents with a score of 0-3. The guests were led by G. Kvaratskhelia, R. Beniušis added a goal in the middle of the second half, and E. Pehličius finished off the rout at the end of the match.
