NFKA "A Lyga" 33rd round match against "Šiauliai" after a year-long break was represented by "Vėtra", who had been unable to help their team throughout the year due to a serious injury.

When in 2004 they surprised the whole of Lithuania with their performance in the "Intertoto" Cup, one of the defensive pillars of the team at that time was Ž. Grudzinskas. Unfortunately, the past season in the "A Lyga" ended unsuccessfully for this footballer - in October 2004, during the "Vėtra" derby against "Vilnius", Ž. Grudzinskas suffered an injury, as a result of which the defender tore his cruciate ligaments.

"After 5 months following the injury, I started preparing for the 2005 season with the team, but I noticed that due to the load, the same knee started to weaken. Complications began, and because of them, I was out of the squad for another three months," the footballer said.

Only a month and a half ago, the "Vėtra" player started representing the team's reserves, and after gaining enough playing experience, on Wednesday after a long break, he represented the first team again.

Asked to compare the performance of "Vėtra" between last season and this season, Ž. Grudzinskas stated that under the guidance of coach S. Borovskis, the team started playing a more tactically matured game: "Each player has specific instructions on the field, which helps to better coordinate actions between each other."

The "Vėtra" player also claimed that it was not difficult for him to get involved in new tactical schemes of the team. In the match against "Šiauliai", the defender evaluated his performance positively, but regretted that in the final minutes of the game, "Vėtra" conceded a goal.
