13th round: No Changes in France © EuroFootball.com

On Saturday, eight matches of the 13th round of the French "Ligue 1" championship were played. The remaining two matches will be played tonight.

There is still nothing new at the top of the league table, where the reigning fifth-time champion "Lyon" club confidently leads. This time, "Lyon" players narrowly defeated "Sochaux" 1-0 at home.

"Bordeaux" club temporarily rose to the second position, defeating the resistance of "Troyes" club at home after two goals from Jean-Claude Darcheville. Now "Bordeaux" is one point ahead of Paris "P.S.G" team, which has played one game less.

Parisians are temporarily also overtaken by the very successful team "Saint-Etienne", which defeated the underdog "Strasbourg" away with a minimal result and climbed to third place.

After the failure in the previous round, the "Monaco" club won by crushing "Ajaccio" with a score of 3-0 at home. After this victory, "Monaco" rose to the 6th place in the league table and is now 13 points behind the leader.

The "Rennes" team continues to climb successfully in the league table. Despite a very unsuccessful start to the season, the "Rennes" players are now demonstrating better and better performance, and after Saturday's victory against the absolute underdog "Metz", they rose to the 7th position.
