Due to a cruciate ligament injury, Munich striker Roque Santa Cruz may not be able to play for up to six months.
The Paraguayan suffered the injury during Saturday's "Bundesliga" match against the team from Cologne. After examinations, it was revealed that the striker may have to miss almost the entire rest of the season.
"It's unfortunate for both us and him," said Bayern coach Felix Magath upon learning the seriousness of the injury.
