On Sunday, two remaining matches of the 13th round were played in the French "Ligue 1" championship. The other eight matches were played on Saturday.
Paris "P.S.G" club, who was in the 2nd position before this round, suffered an unexpected defeat on Sunday. The Parisians unexpectedly lost 2-0 to "Auxerre" away and dropped to 4th place in the league table. Meanwhile, Auxerre team now climbed to 5th place with 22 points from the 10th position. It is worth mentioning that the first goal of the match was scored by P.S.G player Edouard Cisse, but unfortunately, it was an own goal. Later, Auxerre secured the lead through Luigi Pieroni.
In the other Sunday match, "Nancy" and "Nice" teams faced each other. In a nervy game, neither team managed to score, but both teams received red and yellow cards, totaling 6 (1 red and 5 yellow).
