In the Serie B of Italy, on Tuesday and Wednesday, the 13th round matches were played. For the second week in a row, the player M.Stankevičius of the team "Brescia" scored a goal, though his team barely managed to avoid a defeat against "Modena", while the other "Lithuanian" club "Avellino" with T.Danilevičius ended the match against "Mantova" goalless.
In the match against "Modena", Salvatore Bruni scored in the 5th minute to give the lead, and in the 67th minute of the second half, the Lithuanian doubled the host's advantage with a beautiful strike.
However, the match quickly turned around, and at the end of the game, "Modena" regretted the missed victory - firstly, in the 74th and 77th minutes, C.Bucchi and F.Giampaolo scored two quick goals, and with four minutes left, a penalty was awarded to "Brescia", but R.Colacone failed to convert it.
The match ended in a draw, so "Modena" missed the chance to climb to the second position and remains in third, while "Brescia" shares the 5-8 positions with three other teams, but with three points less.
Interestingly, M.Stankevičius, who has already scored four goals this season for the "Brescia" team, ranks third in the league in terms of effectiveness, only behind the forward S.Bruno, and has scored as many goals as one of the team's leaders O.Milanetto.
In the championship, the team "Avellino" in 19th place won their tenth point by playing goalless at home against the sole leader of the championship "Mantova". T.Danilevičius played the entire match and received a yellow card.
