The head coach Jose Mourinho categorically denied any rumors about an alleged altercation with Arjen Robben, after the Dutch winger was substituted in the match against Real Betis, which Chelsea lost.
21-year-old A.Robben was substituted due to a hamstring injury caused by discomfort in the back area.
"Everything is getting very complicated. The guy doesn't give his all on the field 100%. The reality is that recently he has been playing poorly, doesn't trust himself due to the hamstring pain, which is not a good sign," worried J.Mourinho. - "To be honest, the situation is very strange. First of all, it's not a common muscle injury. We understand very well that if he plays, it won't harm his health, so sometimes we close our eyes and let him run on the field."
Interestingly, even J.Mourinho admitted that "a complex treatment is expected, as it doesn't involve muscles, as usual in such situations."
