Over the weekend in France, the matches of the 14th round of "Ligue 1" were played. The undefeated leader "Lyon" won their eleventh victory this year by defeating "Toulouse" with a minimal result in Toulouse, while the central match of the round between "P.S.G" and "Monaco" ended goalless.
"Marseille" unexpectedly suffered a crushing defeat, losing 3-0 to "Le Mans". "Metz" convincingly won 2-0 against "Ajaccio", the bottom team of the league.
The players of "Lille" secured their second victory of the week by unexpectedly winning 1-0 against the famous "Man Utd" on Wednesday, and on Sunday they did not spare the league's underdog "Strasbourg" winning 2-0.
"Bordeaux" and "Troyes" players secured victories by one-goal difference, defeating "Nice" and "Rennes" 1-0 and 2-1 respectively.
The intriguing match between the teams "Saint Etienne" and "Auxerre" ended in a 1-1 draw, as well as the match between "Sochaux" and "Lens".
After the 14th round, the defending champions "Lyon" continue to lead the table. In second place is "Bordeaux", trailing by 9 points, while "Saint Etienne" and "PSG" share the third place with 12 points behind "Lyon".
