So after a two-week break, the Bundesliga championship continues. This weekend, the matches of the thirteenth round took place, after which there were no changes at the top of the standings - the defending champions "Bayern" still lead the league, followed by "Werder" in second place by five points. The draw in this round was tough, and the twelfth point of the season was earned by the "Mainz" club, playing 2-2 at home with the league newcomers "Eintracht". The match started tragically for the "Mainz" players, especially for N.Noveski - the experienced defender scored an own goal twice in the first six minutes of the game, complicating his team's situation. However, "Mainz" managed to bounce back, and in the 70th minute, the aforementioned N.Noveski softened the score, while at the end of the match his teammate P.Ruman equalized, helping his team secure an important point. After thirteen rounds, "Mainz" is in fourteenth position, while "Eintracht" players are in twelfth. In the next match, the league leaders "Bayern" narrowly escaped defeat - the defending champions from Munich scored two goals in the final minutes of the match as guests and snatched a victory against the mid-table team "Arminia". In the 82nd minute, C.Pizarro equalized the score after receiving an accurate pass from P.Guerrero, and in the third minute of added time, the same forward from Peru led his team to victory. "We achieved victory, and it seems like everything is fine, but in reality we were very lucky, and maybe we don't deserve the victory. We had a lot of problems." - said "Bayern" coach F.Magath after the match. A successful round was also for the "Borussia" team - Dortmund players delighted 70 thousand fans and won their fourth victory of the season. On Saturday, "Borussia" defeated "Hertha" 2-0 at home, with E.Smolarek scoring two goals at the end of the first half. Another stunning victory was achieved by the most productive team in the league, "Werder" - the Bremen club at home completely dominated "Wolfsburg" with a convincing 6-1 victory, securing their ninth win of the season. Grinder M.Klose scored two goals for the winners, demonstrating a fantastic sporting form. In this Bundesliga season, the German played 12 matches and scored 14 goals. It is worth mentioning that M.Klose left the field without scoring only three times in the national championship. After the victory, the Bremen club remains in second place, while the "Wolfsburg" team dropped to ninth in the standings. The break of a couple of weeks seemed beneficial for the "Nurnberg" club. The league's underdogs secured their second victory of the season on Saturday, beating "Kaiserslautern" 3-1 away and climbing to sixteenth place in the league with nine points from thirteen matches. The same number of points have the clubs "Duisburg" and "Kaiserslautern" but due to inferior goal difference, these teams occupy lower positions. The "Hamburger" club returned to the path of victory - in Sunday's match, the city's team played excellently at the end of the first half, gained a two-goal advantage, and that was enough to achieve victory against the underdog "Duisburg". Meanwhile, the match between the "Stuttgart" and "Hannover" teams ended in a 2-2 draw. The same result ended the meeting between the "Koln" and "Schalke" clubs. With about five minutes left to play in the match, "Koln" was still in the lead, but the visitors did not give up, and in the 86th minute E.Sandas managed to equalize the score. 13th round statistics 1 - 2 60` [1 - 0] Isaac Boakye 82` [1 - 1] Claudio Pizarro 90`+3 [1 - 2] Claudio Pizarro 2 - 2 23` [0 - 1] Kevin Kuranyi 47` [1 - 1] Roland Benschneider 57` [2 - 1] Denis Epstein 86` [2 - 2] Ebbe Sand 6 - 1 6` [1 - 0] Frank Baumann 43` [2 - 0] Tim Borowski 52` [3 - 0] Tim Borowski 57` [3 - 1] Diego Klimowicz 60` [4 - 1] Miroslav Klose 72` [5 - 1] Naldo 85` [6 - 1] Miroslav Klose 1 - 1 5` [0 - 1] Simon Rolfes 15` [1 - 1] Eugen Polanski 1 - 3 17` [0 - 1] Ivica Banovic 18` [1 - 1] Stefan Blank 78` [1 - 2] Lars Mülle 81` [1 - 3] Ivan Saenko 2 - 0 39` [1 - 0] Ebi Smolarek 45` [2 - 0] Ebi Smolarek 2 - 2 3` [0 - 1] Nikolce Noveski (own goal) 6` [0 - 2] Nikolce Noveski (own goal) 70` [1 - 2] Nikolce Noveski 90` [2 - 2] Petr Ruman 2 - 2 11` [1 - 0] Jon Dahl Tomasson 58` [1 - 1] Vahid Hashemian 68` [2 - 1] Jon Dahl Tomasson 69` [2 - 2] Chavdar Yankov 2 - 0 39` [1 - 0] Sergej Barbarez 45` [2 - 0] Benjamin Lauth
